Soulwave Retreat Locations

Large soaking pools let you enjoy spring waters as they come from Mother Earth... very hot, soothingly warm, or breathtakingly cold. Thanks to a state-of-the-art filtration system, even the large swimming pool contains absolutely no chlorine. Sprawling redwood sun decks -- like the entire pool area -- welcome sunning, soaking and swimming with or without swimsuits.

During your visit, you will want to schedule a massage or other treatment from one of our professionally trained and certified practitioners. Choose from a wide range of approaches including bodywork, energy work and spa treatments. And, of course, there's also Watsu, a powerful form of warm water massage developed and taught at Harbin.

At mealtime, join us for creatively prepared breakfasts, lunches and dinners in the Stonefront Restaurant. Snacks, ingredients and organic produce are always available from the Harbin Market. Or stop by one of our charming cafés.

Our workshop schedule is as diverse as our guests, featuring renowned authors, healers and teachers from around the world. Free events throughout the week are open to guests on a drop-in basis, including yoga classes (three times daily), weekly dances, satsang, and spiritual gatherings.

As twilight approaches, our redwood sundeck becomes an outdoor sleeping area for those who love dreaming under the stars. Creekside camping is available as well. Charming Victorian-style buildings feature dormitories and beautifully renovated private rooms of various styles. For special occasions, consider one of our luxurious cottages.

Harbin's center is maintained and operated by more than 150 residents and volunteers who share the duties of preserving this land as a healing retreat for these stressful times. Although we strive to provide basic comfort and conveniences during your retreat, we have no desire to compete with elegant spas or fancy resorts.

During your stay you become part of our community, sharing meditations, soaks, meals and conversations with us. Many of our guests say this is the reason they return again and again.
